Cocoa-free chocolate producer, Foreverland, has taken a significant step in the direction of international scalability, with the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Puglia, Italy.

Set to supply over 500 tonnes of Choruba – the Italian producer’s different to cocoa-based chocolate – it marks a big step in Foreverland’s development technique.

A devoted pilot fermentation room sits alongside the ability, permitting for testing and refining.

“The launch of our Puglia facility marks the moment Foreverland moves from pilot projects to full-scale production,” says Massimo Sabatini, co-founder and CEO of Foreverland.

Foreverland’s cocoa-free chocolate Choruba, is constructed from resilient Mediterranean crops, resembling carob, pumpkin seeds and chickpeas.

“By reducing reliance on cocoa, Choruba helps manufacturers navigate a market facing record price volatility, supply shortages and climate pressures,” stated a spokesperson for the corporate.

Looking forward, Foreverland is in discussions to develop into France and the Nordics, constructing on its present presence in Italy and Germany.
