From budget-friendly dinner shortcuts to copycats of high-end kitchenware, there’s always something new to pique your interest at Aldi. And while we love a good “Aisle of Shame” find, there’s no denying that one of the store’s best features is its snack and candy selection.

Whether you’re searching for something to perk up your weekday lunch, such as Clancy’s Garden Jalapeño Sweet Potato Chips, or want to find a shareable treat like Aldi’s mini peanut butter cups to enjoy during movie night, you won’t be disappointed.

Recently, we noticed shoppers stocking up on a sweet and salty find, and we’re already reaching for our Aldi quarter.

Last summer, Aldi’s Birthday Cake-flavored pretzels turned out to be a massive hit with customers. Now, the retailer is stocked with even more options to elevate snack time.

First off is Clancy’s Cookies & Cream Covered Pretzels, which feature a creamy vanilla-flavored confectionery coating and crushed chocolate cookie pieces that are reminiscent of milk’s favorite cookie.

For those looking for more fruity flavor, there are the Strawberries & Cream Covered Pretzels, featuring a strawberry-flavored coating and a white confectionery drizzle.

Another flavor that shoppers can’t stop raving about? Clancy’s Milk Chocolate Toffee Covered Pretzels. The rich, sweet, and crunchy variety has been a fan favorite for years.

On Reddit, one fan posted a photo of the Strawberries & Cream and Cookies & Cream flavors, writing, “First time finding these. Half a bag down by the time I made it home, neither will make it through the evening.”

In a separate threada Redditor shared a photo of the pretzels in-store and begged commenters not to tell them how good they are. “Please tell me these taste terrible,” they wrote. The post kicked off a humorous thread with over 200 comments, convincing the original poster that the popular treat was not very good.

“So gross. You definitely won’t open the bag in the car and finish it by the time you get home,” joked one user.

Another Redditor chimed in, “The toffee ones didn’t even make it home….just terrible!”

“Definitely do not freeze those [Cookies & Cream flavor] unless you put three more bags in there [the freezer] and then, crush them up and cut them with ice cream to help get them down,” added another playful fan.

Aldi is offering Clancy’s Covered Pretzels in 8-ounce bags for just $3 each, though prices may vary by location. The best news of all? These are not listed as an Aldi find, meaning you can keep filling up your cart with them again and again.
