While Aldi is known for copycat groceries, heat-and-eat prepared meals, and delicious store brand treats, we especially love the grocery store’s incredible look-alikes. Recently, Aldi has featured nearly identical versions of luxury cookware and dinnerware, from a Pottery Barn pitcher to a Williams Sonoma Lazy Susan and even Yeti can coolers.

This week, Aldi doesn’t have just one copycat item, but a whole collection of dishware that’s remarkably similar to a luxury home brand—for just a fraction of the cost of the original.

Aldi’s Crofton Scalloped Dinner Plates and Bowls

This week’s Aldi Finds include a gorgeous collection from Crofton, the grocery store’s in-house kitchenware line. In addition to a selection of food storage containers, lunch boxes, and reusable cutlery, Aldi is also selling gorgeous dinnerware—including plates and bowls—for a limited time, and at an incredible price.

Crofton’s collection includes dinner plates, salad plates, and dinner bowls with trendy scalloped edges in three unique colors: beige, green, and pink. Each BPA-free item comes in a set of four, and Crofton’s Scalloped Dinnerware is safe for both the dishwasher and microwave, making cooking and cleanup a breeze.

While each item is appealing on its own, Aldi’s Crofton Scalloped Dinnerware Plates, Bowls, and Salad Plates bear a striking resemblance to some Anthropologie items, but at a fraction of the cost. Just like Aldi’s new dinnerware collection, Anthropologie’s Beatriz Collection feature delicate scalloped edges that elevate any table setting.

Both Aldi’s Crofton Scalloped Dinnerware Plates and Anthropologie’s Beatriz Dinner Plates come in sets of four, but the prices are drastically different. While Aldi’s dinner and salad plates retail for $4.99 for a 4-pack (or around $1.25 each), Anthropologie’s set costs $64 for four plates, or roughly $16 each—meaning the Aldi copycat costs 90 percent less than the homeware brand.

Beyond the plates, Anthropologie also has a collection of Beatriz Dinner Bowls that look just like the Crofton Scalloped Dinnerware Bowls. But with a price tag of $48, the Anthropologie set is a whopping $43 more than the set of bowls at Aldi.

Just like all Aldi Finds, the newest collection of Crofton Scalloped Dinnerware is only available for a limited time, or while supplies last. Whether you’re hosting a group of friends, are a fan of elegant tableware, or just want to upgrade your daily dinner plates, stop by Aldi ASAP to grab Crofton’s new dinnerware sets before they disappear.
