How to cook perfect Brown Rice
Ingredients:
- Boiled brown rice – 2 cups
- Boiled black chickpeas – 1 1/2 cup
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Onion – 1/4 cup chopped
- Whole garam masala – 1 tbsp (star anise 1, black cardamoms 2, cumin seeds 1 tsp, dry coriander 1 tsp, cloves 3, black pepper 4 to 5, cinnamon stick 1)
- Tomato – 1
- Green chillies – 2 to 3
- Salt – to taste
- Fresh coriander
Method:

- Heat up oil in a pan, sauté onion, add whole masala, stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato, green chillies and fry along with some water.
- Add chickpeas and fry well.
