Kerrygold Has a New Butter and We’re Stocking up ASAP

Everyone knows that Kerrygold’s Irish butter is some of the best there is. In fact, it’s some of the best butter in the world, according to its latest gold medal for best unsalted butter at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards.

We love slathering the golden, extra-rich butter on toast, as well as using it in our favorite recipes. And while Kerrygold’s classic salted and unsalted butter is always a perfect option, the brand recently released a new kind of butter that had our editors freaking out. The discovery lit up our Slack channel with calls for “OMG need” and “whoa that looks SO good”—and we weren’t the only ones.

Kerrygold fans everywhere are already obsessed with its newest Cinnamon & Sugar Butter Sticks.

Kerrygold’s New Cinnamon & Sugar Butter Sticks

A hot new bombshell has entered the villa, and its name is Kerrygold Cinnamon & Sugar Butter. The new butter combines Kerrygold’s classic bright yellow salted butter with sweet brown sugar and warm cinnamon and nutmeg spices for a “rich, creamy, comforting, [and] nostalgic” flavor.

The new butter is Kerrygold’s latest addition to its Butter Blend line, which includes Garlic & Herb Butter, and previously included Chive & Onion, Sundried Tomato & Basil, and Bell Pepper & Garden Herbs.

Kerrygold’s Cinnamon & Sugar Butter is available in 3.5-ounce sticks, a product Kerrygold introduced in September 2024 to sell alongside its one-pound blocks. The sweet, spiced butter is rolling out to retailers now, where it’s already been spotted at Whole Foods and Walmart.

Fans are on the hunt for the new butter, writing “I need it” in Kerrygold’s Instagram comments and dreaming of new ways to use the sweet butter.

“Adding this on pancakes,” wrote one user.

“[On] French toast, biscuits, and pecans,” commented another.

Forget recipes, a third Instagram user simply asked, “Can I please eat it right from the stick?”

Kerrygold recommends trying the new butter blend on biscuits, sweet potatoes, or even just a simple piece of toasted bread for an elevated cinnamon-sugar toast.

However it’s used, we know this new Kerrygold Cinnamon & Sugar Butter will be a staple in our fridge alongside its salted and unsalted butters and blocks of cheese.
