I tried many different variants and Herbal vinegar is my clear favorite. Because: This makes the salad a little milder and nice and tasty. White wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar also fit.

oil

Sunflower oil or mild olive oil are ideal for this herb salad recipe.

The best news first: This salad is made in just 3 steps.

  1. Rapple cabbage. First you rapy the cabbage. Rubbing, herb flags or the Raspel attachment of your food processor are suitable for this.
  2. Mix the dressing. Now you mix all the ingredients for herbal salad dressing in a small bowl.
  3. Mix. Finally, knead cabbage and dressing for a few minutes until the herb becomes soft. Add onions and sparkling water, done.

Now the Greek herb salad can pull through in the fridge overnight. It becomes nice and tender, digestible and above all: incredibly tasty!

  • 600 g White cabbage
  • 1 small Onion

For the dressing:

  • 70 g Zucker
  • 20 g Salt
  • ½ TL ground black pepper
  • 175 ml Herbal vinegar Alternatively white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 75 ml oil e.g. sunflower oil
  • 400 ml Sparkling water

  • Clean the white cabbage and cut into thin, bite -sized strips or plan. Put in a large bowl. Cut the onion into thin strips.

  • Mix all the ingredients for the dressing until the sugar has dissolved. Add dressing to the cabbage and knead for a few minutes until the cabbage becomes soft.

  • Add the onion and sparkling water and knead again briefly.

  • Let them steep overnight, at least 12 hours, so that the coleslaw becomes nice and tender and digestible.

  • Drain and enjoy herbal salad dressing.
