Picture this: it’s a breezy autumn day, the air is crisp, the trees are starting to change colors, and you’re lounging in your favorite flannels with a mug of chai tea about to watch a football game or your favorite Halloween movie. We know with the current temperatures in many parts of the country, this feels more like a faraway dream than a reality—but fall is indeed right around the corner.
Sure, many autumn products are peeking their heads around the corner just a little bit early this year, but with fans asking for pumpkin spice all year round, it’s not that surprising.
However, even though many of us consider pumpkin spice to be the flavor of fall (thanks to Starbucks’ PSL), it’s not the only warm, comforting option on shelves. Every year, it seems like one other flavor stands out as pumpkin’s competitor. Sometimes it’s maple, while at other times it’s apple. This year, Pepperidge Farm is taking an early stance by declaring chai its newest fall flavor.
Pepperidge Farm is releasing the first-ever chai-flavored cookie with its brand-new Chai Latte Milano.
Pepperidge Farm Releases New Chai Latte Milano
Pepperidge Farm
Milano’s new Chai Latte cookies are filled with white chocolate, nutmeg, cloves, and cardamom for a cozy, warming flavor between two wafer cookies. The new Milano Chai Latte flavor builds on Pepperidge Farm’s recent success of its white chocolate lineup, as well as the fan-loved London Fog cookie that it launched in 2024 and brought back again this year.
The Swifties are going to love the new flavor, reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s iconic chai cookies. And, honestly, between her newfound love of football, thanks to her beau Travis Kelce, and the autumnal vibe her “Evermore” album evokes, what’s more fall than T. Swift?
Milano fans are already commenting that they’re “so ready” for the new flavor to hit shelves, which is slated for August.
The new Chai Latte Milanos will join Pepperidge Farm’s autumn lineup for a limited time. In addition to the new flavor, Milano is also bringing back its popular Pumpkin Spice flavor, and Pepperidge Farm is bringing back its Pumpkin Cheesecake cookies and the ever-popular Goldfish Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Grahams.
So, football is officially back, and fall is here at the grocery store. Someone put on “The Best Day” by Taylor Swift.
