Theater kids: Our time is coming. While many people are excited about the “ber” months because it means football season is back, Halloween is upon us, Santa is nearly on his way—and our version of the Super Bowl is coming up. And I’m not talking about watching the Broadway casts perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade while a turkey roasts in the oven—though that is iconic, too.
No, I’m referring to the release of the highly anticipated final act of the Broadway musical-turned-movie “Wicked.” The second part, “Wicked: For Good,” hits theaters on Nov. 21, and I already know that we’re going to be changed for the better after watching it.
So, as we gear up for Elphaba and Glinda’s return to the silver screen, General Mills is offering a little appetizer to hold us over until “Wicked: For Good” is released.
Following its successful partnership with “Wicked” to release Betty Crocker “Wicked” baking mixes, General Mills is teaming up with the witches once again. But, this time, the Pillsbury Doughboy is the one headed to dear old Shiz.
Pillsbury Releases New ‘Wicked: For Good’ Cookies

This summer, Pillsbury is giving one of its most popular products, the ready-to-bake Shape Cookies, a wicked makeover. For a limited time, you can find new “Wicked: For Good” Pillsbury shape cookies inspired by the movie.
The sugar cookies will be transformed into a sparkling crown for Glinda and the iconic hat that Elphaba wears. And, of course, the new Pillsbury cutouts are made with pink and green dough—pink for Ariana Grande’s Glinda and green for Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.
Pillsbury’s new “Wicked” collaboration is hitting shelves this August—long before we’ll hear the icons themselves sing “For Good.” And, they aren’t the only treat that General Mills has hiding in its simple “frote.” The brand is bringing “Wicked: For Good” products to its cereal line, with a Glinda Good Berry and Elphaba Caramel Apple cereal, as well as re-releasing its Betty Crocker Mix-to-Reveal Cupcake and Cookie Dough Pop kits, which quickly sold out during the first movie’s run last fall.
General Mills’ entire “Wicked: For Good” collection will be available at retailers nationwide for a limited time. Talk about news that has us dancing through life.
Now, does anyone want me to sing “No One Mourns The Wicked” before we go to the grocery store?
