No matter where you stand on the great pumpkin spice debate, I think many of us can agree that seeing Halloween candy on shelves early isn’t the worst thing. Why? Because that means the seasonal shapes are finally available.
For years, candy lovers have stood firmly on the belief that Reese’s shapes—like the pumpkins, trees, or eggs—taste different (and better) than the original Reese’s. Whether it’s the freshness for the season or simply the peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio, it doesn’t matter. Reese’s lovers will go gaga for shapes, which is why Hershey’s keeps debuting new ones, such as this year’s Mini Pumpkins Unwrapped.
Reese’s may have been the first to start molding its candy, but nowadays, it’s not the only brand that does shapes. Today, Twix, Kit Kat, and Snickers offer seasonal shapes—and, what do you know, these designs have garnered the same cult-like following as the Reese’s varieties.
Much like the Reese’s shapes, Twix’s, Kit Kat’s, and Snickers’ seasonal candies all offer a larger (and what some consider better) filling-to-chocolate ratio. So, as you’re reaching for the Reese’s Pumpkins, Twix Ghosts, and Kit Kat Counts this year, make sure you add Snickers’ new Halloween shape to your list. This fall, Snickers is releasing new Snickers Pumpkins.
Snickers Launches New Pumpkin Shape for Halloween

Snickers re-released its holiday shapes in 2024 with its Snickers Trees. The candy featured a new formulation that meant it was filled with extra gooey caramel, nougat, and crunchy peanut goodness in Christmas tree-shaped chocolate. The Trees became a fast favorite—topping our Best Chocolate Treat category in the 2025 Golden Cart Awards—so Snickers gave its Eggs the same makeover this past Easter.
Now, its Halloween pumpkins are getting the same “extra good stuff” treatment with a shape that’s overflowing with filling.
The newly reformulated Snickers Pumpkins are joining Mars Inc.’s 2025 Halloween lineup, which includes three new M&M’s packs, as well as the returning Pumpkin Pie M&M’s, Twix Ghoulish Green bars, and Skittles Shriekers.
Snickers Pumpkins are hitting retailers now, in both a single and share-size pack, and if they’re as good as the Trees and Eggs, we’ll take 10 bags immediately.
