Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
- 200 grams agency tofu
- 3 cups cooked rice noodles
- 3-4 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
- Salt to style
- Crushed black peppercorns to style
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2-3 spring onion bulbs, diagonally sliced into 1 inch items
- 1 small carrot, peeled and minimize into skinny strips
- 1 small inexperienced capsicum, minimize into skinny strips
- 1 small red capsicumminimize into skinny strips
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Toasted white sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped spring onion greens for garnish
Method
- Cut tofu into 1-inch sq. slices.
- To make the marinade, take 1½ tablespoons garlic in a big bowl, add barbeque sauce, crimson chilli sauce, salt and crushed black peppercorns and blend nicely.
- Add the tofu squares and apply the marinade nicely on every sq..
- Skewer a couple of tofu squares on every satay stick.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a shallow pan, add remaining garlic, spring onion bulbs, carrot, inexperienced capsicum and crimson capsicum, combine and sauté on excessive warmth for 30 seconds.
- Add salt, crushed black peppercorns and soy sauce and blend nicely. Add the cooked rice noodles and toss until nicely mixed.
- Heat remaining oil in a non-stick grill pan, prepare the tofu satay sticks and grill on excessive warmth for 1-2 minutes. Flip, drizzle the remaining marinade and prepare dinner the opposite facet for 1-2 minutes nicely. Add 2-3 tablespoons water and prepare dinner for a couple of seconds.
- Transfer the noodles right into a serving bowl, hold the satay sticks with tofu over and serve garnished with toasted white seeds and spring onion greens.
