Ingredients
- 4 cheese slices, quartered
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 cup tomato concasse
- 6 mini burger buns, halved horizontally
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2-3 contemporary thyme sprigs
- Salt to style
- ¼ teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
- 1½ teaspoons pink chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- ½ teaspoon paprika powder
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ teaspoon dried blended herbs
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic and sauté until golden brown. Add onions, thyme and salt, combine and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato concasse, crushed black peppercorns and 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, combine and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Remove thyme sprigs.
- Add tomato ketchup and blend effectively. Add paprika powder, combine effectively and set the pan apart.
- Take melted butter in a bowl, add remaining garlic, dried blended herbs and remaining chilli flakes and blend effectively
- Arrange decrease halves of burger buns on a baking tray and unfold a spoonful of the tomato combination on every bun.
- Place two quarters of cheese slice on the combination on every bun half and canopy with the higher halves. Apply the flavoured butter on prime. Keep the tray within the preheated oven and bake for 5-6 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven, prepare the sliders on a serving platter and serve sizzling.
